My first recording as a leader (Bruce Babad Quintet, A Tribute To Paul Desmond) is on sale now! Larry Koonse, Ed Czach, Luther Hughes and Steve Barnes captured the vibe perfectly and provided a beautiful, supportive frame for my playing. The international radio campaign for my homage to Paul Desmond began on Jan. 8, 2012. We are receiving rave reviews and are getting play in New York City, Denver, Hawaii and Tel Aviv to name just a few of the places I'd like to visit. As of 1/23/12, A Tribute To Paul Desmond is #11 on the national jazz charts! Last year, the Cannonball/Coltrane Project's fourth release, "Things Are Getting Better", hit #2 on the national jazz airplay charts and is locked in at #24 in the nation for 2011!
